I've seen TROY five times now and it gets better with each viewing. I think Eric Bana deserves an Oscar. Especially fine is the scene where he inadvertently kills the boy Patrocles and discovers his mistake. Eric Bana in real life is a Leo. His Saturn and North Node are in Aries.

I also noticed the journey of the shell necklace for the first time (!) It travels from Achilles' mother to Achilles to Patrocles to Achilles to Briseis. We are in great conflict as to the approximate age of Patroclesm thinking he may be about 16 years old ??

Liz Greene, the world reknowned Jungian astrologer, has an interesting take on Achilles, calling him the "mother's son" in her book on myths and the star signs. In an interesting contrast to his Mars-like demeanor , Achilles sits sulking in his tent, waiting until Agamemnon "groans for him".

Speaking of Mars, there is a scene where Achilles sits sharpening his sword with a flintstone that is just unforgettable Mars! During this activity, Briseis says, "Your cousin was killed and now you have killed my counsein. When does it end." The reply? "It never ends."

I am especially enjoying watching the emergence of Odysseus (Sean Bean) in the movie. He is very pleasant to look at -- what a beautiful haircut (!) -- and his wily ways, that we know so well, are beautifully portrayed. His accent as he begins and ends the movie is just perfect.

I retiterate that the real star of the movie is the Trojan Horse. It is absolute magic.

It's not that this is the greatest movie in the world. It's just that this is one of the greatest stories in the world. 3,200 years old. Agamemnon, King of Kings. Priam, Ajax ... Hector, Tamer of Horses, and Brave Achilles. They are all there. Each generation deserves to retell it, contributing to the life of one of our most powerful myths.
