For my very auspicious birthday (July 26) ... these are a few of my favorite things

Book: One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez and I, Claudius by Robert Graves

Work of Art: Paintings by Mary Cassatt

Class I took: Modern European History with Professor Amov at Grossmont College (now retired); Class I taught: The Goddess Class, two summer ago

Song: Zhdace Horosha ("It's So Beautiful Here, My Soul") a Russian song

Movie: Troy

Date: With Uwe to a German Lieder concert in La Jolla in the 1990's

Best Restaurant: Dining aboard the QEII (Beef Wellington every night and chocolate souffle)

Best Meal: pot luck at one of the apartments I lived in years ago -- they gave a prize for the best dish and those women went ALL OUT! I remember a chicken pot pie to die for.

Birthday: This one of course.

Xmas: 1990's with Hadley, Adel and our friend Emily (who was really a guy named Emil)

Job: Working for PGA, tax attorney (12 wonderful and perfect years in the 80's)

Most fun project: websites

Vacation: with Hadley to Palm Springs last year

Trip: to Russia last year

Cities: San Francisco, New Orleans, Venice (Italy)

Time of Day: sunset in the summer

Massage: Kathleen Estabrook, Mission Hills (lost track of her)
