From a Eugene, Oregon newspaper review of Troy, this made me laugh out loud. So true! In Greek myths, and Nordic myths, and Hindu myths, and ... the idea is to die fighting and go to the warrior's afterworld, called different things at different times for different people. "After Paris (Orlando Bloom) has triggered the Trojan War by stealing Helen (Diane Kruger), wife of the king of Sparta, she tells him: `I don't want a hero. I want a man I can grow old with.' Not in Greek myth, you don't."
