About the elections, there are a couple of things to keep in mind. Almost all astrologers predicted that Bush would win but "live to regret it". It remains to be seen in what particular way this is meant. The statement "and live to regret it" is straight out of classical/medieval astrology which uses very dramatic and sometimes foreboding language.
As to the near 50-50 split in our country... what could be more vitalizing? Look at the names of the parties, no coincidence, the Republican right and the Democratic left. We can read this like a tarot card or a painting. On the right is the conscious collective and on the left the companion, adversary or shadow like the Devil card, the "unconscious. When the two are close together like this it indicates a tremendous amount of awarenessof the shadow, an exceptional amount of awareness, not a split or fracturing. Knowledge of the shadow is a very good thing. Fracturing occurs when the right is 90-100% and the shadow is not acknowledged at all, less than 10% enfranchised. That's when the revolution occurs.
