
Let's support each other in keeping trim over the holidays.
It's going to be easy ... allow yourself three days of feasting and fun, Thanksgiving, Christmas and the office party. The rest of the time, stay with your low carbs. Think how proud you'll be for New Year's.
Is there some gentle exercise you can accomplish as well? Here's an easy one. Park far from the store and walk both ways. Climb the stairs instead of taking the elevator. When everyone else settles down after dinner to watch tv, take a couple of turns around the block first. If you're an introvert this is an important and tricky little way to get a few minutes to yourself as well.
Think of "other ways" to celebrate -- why should it always be food when it's so un-celebratory the way we feel later?
