We had a wonderful trip to San Francisco. Saw many friends, rode the cable car, endured a noisy lockout and listened to some fantastic tapes coming and going. This time be brought along healthy snacks and were much happier, apples, raisins, tuna sandwiches on wheatberry bread.
The Fairmont has many happy memories for me.
We had dinner at Farallon, a restaurant in Union Square that is supposed to look like underseas. The waitress asked me if I wanted my coho salmon rare or medium. Yikes! SF is out ahead again on raw fish. I asked for mine well done, thank you.
