Get ready for the sheer magic on August.
I'll be in Santa Fe, New Mexico right before the full moon.

From those wonderful guys at Star IQ, some of the most magical of these moments:

New Moon, August 4: Retrograde Mercury and an opposition from Neptune make this an especially imaginative Leo New Moon. A flood of fresh ideas and creative insights carry thoughts far beyond the bounds of reason. Bringing them down to earth is a delicate task, like capturing a wild bird without killing its spirit. Some must fly free to keep our minds open to further inspiration, so avoid subjecting every word to the dampening effects of logic or analysis.

August 12, Moon conjunct South Moon Node: Jupiter on the Moon's South Node in Libra magnifies the weakness of this sign: excessive concern with what others think. The North Node in Aries reminds us that actions not only speak louder, but are more important than words (for now), and that each of us should blaze a unique trail that needn't be justified to others. Sometimes we must quiet the need for pretty and polite to overcome the inertia of indecision.

Mercury goes direct, August 15: The communication planet turns direct in the tough neighborhood of a Mars-Saturn square. Positions may harden, leading to confrontation in the days ahead. Don't confuse certainty with certain truth. The former is a feeling, the latter is an ideal, not a reality. A sense of humor about ourselves provides needed humility at times like this.

Jupiter trine Neptune, August 17: This is the third of a series of aspects that began last November. It's an opening of the spirit, a harmonious duet between religion and spirituality, hopes and dreams, belief and faith. These giant planets hum deeply in the background as long waves of joyous wisdom balancing the jangled noise of daily doubt and confusion. [These guys do the best job of writing out planetary energies!]

Pluto goes direct, September 1: The direct turn of the Lord of the Underworld can bring long-held secrets into the light, a slow process that is likely to pick up speed in the weeks to come.
