Review and Preview, a wrap up about Katrina from the guys at StarIQ:

The major news event last week was the massive devastation of one of the great cities in the United States: New Orleans. Both the devastation of the city caused by Hurricane Katrina and the floods that followed, as well as the anger and despair directed at federal, state, and local officials for slow or failed relief efforts, has been the topic of headlines all week.

Last week's report alluded to this possibility when it stated, "The most significant signature of this next week appears to be the Sun in opposition to Uranus on August 31. Uranus rules hurricanes, tornadoes, high winds, and earthquakes. It relates to sudden, unexpected events, and even chaos or disruptions." That was certainly accurate, but in retrospect, there were other signatures that suggested even greater details pertaining to what actually happened.

For instance, on the actual day of the event (August 29) Mars was in a waxing square aspect to Neptune , which has a correlation in astrology to floods or oil spills and/or disruptions. One of the sub stories, of course, was the damage to oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico , resulting in the surge of crude oil and gasoline prices to yet new all-time highs.

And then on Friday, September 2, Pluto turned stationary direct, just two days after the Sun-Uranus opposition. Hard Uranus signatures accompanied by Pluto stations are a recipe for grave danger to human lives, either through terrorism or acts of nature. The Pluto presence relates to the large number of human lives that were lost in tragedies last week, for Pluto is the astrological signature of threat of death. There were of course a huge number of deaths in New Orleans and surrounding areas. But there was also a massive death toll in Iraq again where over 1000 Shiite pilgrims died in a stampede last Wednesday over false rumors of a suicide bomber. A Mars-Neptune square can pertain to unfounded rumors causing angst.
