Statue of
Lenin overlooking
the Volga ... dramatic!

I couldn't find a great photo of this statue which is very dramatic, so I'm putting some Lenin posters instead. There were still statues of Lenin in almost every town and town square. None of Stalin. Stalin's body was removed quietly one night and he was buried in the Kremlin Wall, where many famous people are buried. There were still people in lines to visit Lenin's body in the Kremlin however.
