Dear Ginger,

You have no doubt received many letters saying nice things about Ray. I share those feelings. But particularly on my mind is the obligation of our law firm to him. I am aware of many of the efforts and sacrifices he has made over the years in its behalf: the teaching, the changed plans, the pressure. I am sure that you have shared much of this. As a member of the firm and for other reasons I am truly grateful.
