Introduction
Greetings, I’m Hermit Loner, and I’m here to just chat a bit about different “Introvert Issues” and challenges that come up in daily life.
I’m hoping that something I say here will resonate with someone. Perhaps something I relate here will help at least one person realize that he or she isn’t alone, isn’t strange or peculiar or “the only one” to feel a certain way. I’m going to be sharing my thoughts and observations, my questions, my answers if I have any, in hopes that something I say will help at least one soul out there to feel validated and understood.
Let me start by telling you a little bit about myself. I live in a big house with my partner, her elderly (very extroverted!) mother, two big dogs, five cats, and some fish. We live in a small city but have a fairly large yard, about an acre. On one side of us we have a very friendly, extroverted neighbor who just loves to come over and chat whenever she sees us outside. My partner and I work at the same place about 45 minutes from home, so we drive together. I am a server administrator for a small computing group, and while my job does not generally require me to get out and interact with users much, I do have to attend frequent meetings and work with people quite a bit. As you can imagine, I face quite a few challenges every day - I’d like to share some of them with you, and maybe you’ll find something to relate to!
If you have a comment, or something in particular you’d like me to talk about, I invite you to email me:
