TODAY'S QUESTION

From Melody in Montrose

"I have always felt different, unusual, and never felt that I fit in with the world. I would beat myself up internally for not "fitting in" and doing what anyone else did. Why was going to a party so draining and agonizing, or even answering the phone annoying? Everyone else did it. I spent years feeling I was probably social anxious, and worked on healing myself of that by forcing myself into social situations. But the truth is that I don't like them. I enjoy people and quiet times. Gentle talk over a cup of coffee, but not the agressive ways of modern existence. I feel drained and exhausted most of the time after work, and just want to spend my evenings alone reading, or quietly with my husband. I would like to receive guidance on these aspects that not only are a part of me, but I feel make me up. I want to come to a place in my life where I can accept this about myself, and not spend my life apologizing to friends and family for "ignoring" them. I can only take limited doses of them! Please let me know what coaching consists of, if you do it on the computer, and what your rates are. "
