Peter and Paul Fortress

Among other things, the burial place of the Romanovs since Peter the Great.

This is Peter's tomb. All the Romanovs are buried in below the ground and above is a white marble sarcophagus with a gold Russian cross on top and on the four corners the double headed eagle emblem.

All except Tsar Alexander I, the martyred Tsar.
